Like the Barnabas of the early church, whose name meant "Son of Encouragement," our vision and calling is to serve the body of Christ by providing care in the form of encouragement, counseling, mentoring and consulting for those in Christian leadership, including pastors, missionaries and church leadership.

Since the ministry's beginning in 1977 the staff of Barnabas Ministries have helped many in Christian leadership address personal problems in their lives, resolve conflicts in their churches, and get refocused for continued effective and productive ministry.

Today, we have staff serving in three locations, diverse in ministries and locations, but sharing a common purpose.
